Synthetic Slate Roof Fit for The Mansion

From baby showers to weddings, and everything in between, The Mansion on Main Street is famous for its outstanding service and surroundings. Therefore, it’s no surprise that they selected a stunning synthetic slate for their re-roofing project.

Stunning Roof Transformation

If you’re in the southern New Jersey area, you’ve most likely been to The Mansion on Main Street in Voorhees. Exquisite ballrooms and an all-glass ceremony pavilion are part of the property. There’s also outdoor venue space, lush gardens and picture-perfect gazebos. All are ideal for corporate events, fundraisers, proms and birthday parties.

The two main structures on the property, along with the neighboring pavilion, recently got a facelift. An exquisite one. Where there was once metal and cement slate overhead, there’s now eye-catching DaVinci Multi-Width Slate in a European blend of five colors.

“The new DaVinci roof makes The Mansion look like the high-quality event venue we truly are,” says Chris Kolovos, partner in The Mansion on Main Street. “The old roofing made us look like an office or industrial building. The DaVinci roof looks more like a chateau. The quality is so much better.”

Professional Installation

Installed by A Residential General Contracting, LLC, the expansive scope of the project took four months to complete.

“Our team is very familiar with this DaVinci product, so there were no surprises along the way,” says Felipe Seguro with A Residential General Contracting, LLC. “We install about three composite roofing projects a year with this product. In addition, we’ve been installing DaVinci roofing for four years. It’s a beautiful product that has an authentic look.”

It was, in fact, the beauty of the product that motivated Kolovos to choose the DaVinci roof.

“We put this same DaVinci multi-width product on our own house and love it,” says Kolovos. “We’re using DaVinci at all our new locations. We love the look. For The Mansion, the European color in particular perfectly complements our cream-colored building.”

First Impressions

Made in America, the synthetic slate from DaVinci Roofscapes resists fire, impact, high winds and severe weather. In addition, each piece resists insects, termites, algae growth, fading and cracking.

Constructed of virgin resins, UV and thermal stabilizers, along with a highly-specialized fire retardant, slate roofing from DaVinci is a state-of-the-art masterpiece. The composite tiles perform beautifully in any climate and require no maintenance.

The ½-inch thick tiles are modeled from actual slate. This gives them a natural, non-repeating beauty. Widths come in 12-, 10-, 9- 7- and 6-inches. The tiles can be installed in a staggered or straight application.

“Whether it’s a group of 50 or 500, when people come to The Mansion the first thing they see is our exterior,” says Kolovos. “As the saying goes, ‘you only have one chance to make a first impression.’ And our first impression has been greatly enhanced by the addition of the DaVinci roofing tiles.”
