Renovations + DaVinci Slate = Happy Homeowner
The Hicks family likes to make changes to their home. Renovations and additions in 2000, 2003, 2007 and 2012 left the family with new roof lines and, unfortunately, mis-matched asphalt roofing shingles.
Through the years, the Hicks traditional-style home had grown to 13,500 square feet of space in the main house that features six bedrooms and a two-car garage. The carriage house addition features one bedroom and an additional two-car garage.
“The oldest portion of the roof finally got to the age this year where we needed to consider replacing it,” says homeowner Thalia Hammond Hicks. “We had admired a synthetic slate roof on a neighbor’s home and decided to focus on this product.”
Working with a DaVinci representative and Chase Restoration, LLC, Hicks selected a DaVinci Slate roof in Smokey Gray.
